Two armed robberies were reported within 30 minutes and five miles of each other in Charlotte County on Tuesday morning. The first happened just before 6 a.m. at a Circle K at Tamiami Trail and Aqui Esta Drive. The second happened around 6:15 a.m. at a Marathon gas station at Edgewater Drive and Bayshore Road in Port Charlotte. Law enforcement officials said they’re looking for a black man in his 20s, wearing black Puma sweatpants and a light gray hoodie. They believe he’s driving a small Chrysler, SUV-style vehicle.
