Venice City Council to Meet Wed. On Five-Year Spending Plan

An important meeting is coming up this week, when the Venice City Council meets to discuss future spending on various projects.

In all, the city’s Capital Improvement Program would spend $121 million over the next five years.

Among the projects being considered are a $3.5M expansion of city hall, more than $6M in mobility fees on road projects, and more than $24M on various utility projects.

In addition, the council will go over requests from various city departments to include items in that five-year plan. That meeting is Wednesday at 9am.
