The Sarasota County School District this week launched its Crisis Text Line for students.
Any student can text ‘HERE4U’ to 741741, 24/7, and talk to a trained counselor.
The text will immediately start a conversation with a crisis counselor, trained to help children.
The addition of the text line is another in a long list of mental and behavioral health services that the school district is offering.
