Two central Florida men have been charged with allegedly ripping off more than 30 Home Depot stores across the state, including in Sarasota County.

Police say 38-year old Roland Lee and 37-year old Juan Sapeg made more than 70 fraudulent transactions at Home Depots in 15 counties.

Investigators say in one of the schemes, the pair would switch barcodes on high-priced items with lower-priced items. Home Depot says it cost their stores more than $20,000.
