No injuries were reported after a brief standoff in Venice on Tuesday.
Yesterday morning, police were called to a home on Capri Isles Boulevard for a report of a suicidal man that had barricaded himself inside the home.
Police found an unidentified 60-year old man armed with a gun- initially, a woman left the home, then the man soon followed. He was taken into custody under the Baker Act. No injuries were reported.
