Gov. Rick Scott is not pleased about the Florida legislature’s proposal to cut spending for tourism. Scott wanted the number to be $100 million, but the house has proposed closer to $76 million for the next year, with the Senate going even lower at $50 million. Visit Florida President Ken Lawson called the proposal “disappointing”.
