Wednesday was supposed to be Unity Day at Venice High School, but the day was disturbed after three people left hate-based graffiti on two buildings on campus. Campus security video show three people on campus around 10:30pm. Parents and staff were notified through electronic messaging on Wednesday morning. The concern remains if the graffiti and the messages were timed to disrupt Unity Day on campus. A 1,000 reward has been offered and the Venice Police Department is working the case. There have been a number of emails that may provide some information as to who is responsible.
