The Summer Beach Runs return tonight on Siesta Key Beach. Starting tonight and every Tuesday through August, there will be a 1-mile fun run on the Siesta Key public beach. Any kids that participate will get a ribbon and ice pops at the finish line. After four runs, they will get a t-shirt. The adult run starts at 7, after the kids’ run. As for the adults, their run can change every week- the distance, style, etc. The Manasota Track Club will update the changes each week on their Facebook page. Also, in Venice at Brohard Beach, you can participate in the same Summer Beach Runs on Wednesday evenings. The Beach Runs continue through Aug. 9.
