Gas Prices Up Again

The upward trend continued at the gas pump last week, as the national average rose four cents in the past seven days. After rising for nearly two weeks, Triple-A says gas prices leveled-off on Sunday. However, the upward trend could resume this week, depending on how the oil market responds to news of a new production-cut agreement from a number of non-OPEC oil-producing countries. In Florida, the statewide average for a gallon of regular is now two dollars 22 cents, up four cents from a week ago. In Englewood, regular averages two-12, actually down a penny. In North Port, the average is two-09, that’s unchanged. And, in Venice, it’s two-13, up two cents.
