Fuel prices are still rising after members of OPEC agreed to reduce crude oil production by one-point-two million barrels a day. Since Wednesday’s announcement, Triple-A reports the average price for a gallon of regular in Florida rose nine cents. The Auto Club Group says gas prices could rise a total of 10 to 15 cents based on the recent surge in crude oil prices and, possibly, as much as 25 cents. The current statewide average price for regular is two-13 a gallon, up nine cents from a week ago. There’s been a similar jump in Englewood, where regular also averages two-13 a gallon, up 10 cents. In North Port, it’s two-09, up nine cents; and, in Venice, it’s two-11, up eight cents.
