The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Project Lifesaver’s program is hosting an Alzheimer’s Education event today. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home on Indian Springs Road, behind Wal-Mart in Punta Gorda. The Memory Mobile will be available to counsel caregivers and all others needing assistance in this field. There will be several speakers on the topic of Alzheimer’s, plus a drawing for raffle prizes.
