A Venice doctor announces he will be opening a medical marijuana clinic next month to coincide with the legalization of medicinal pot in Florida.
The Herald reports Dr. Barry M. Gordon will open the Compassionate Cannabis Care Clinic of Venice on January third but the facility will only be prescribing medical marijuana – not distributing it.
Qualified physicians will be allowed to prescribe medical cannabis for patients diagnosed with certain conditions.
