Gas prices are falling as 43 and a half million Americans plan to hit the road for Thanksgiving. Triple-A says motorists are beginning to find prices at the pump under two dollars a gallon again, thanks to lower oil prices, lower demand and high gasoline supplies. Gas prices are expected to go even lower through the holiday weekend and, in Florida, could be the lowest in on Thanksgiving since 2008. The statewide average for a gallon of regular is currently two-11, down five cents from a week ago. In Englewood, regular averages two-02 a gallon, also down five cents. In North Port, it’s a dollar-99, down eight cents and, in Venice, the average price for regular is two-05 a gallon, down nine cents.
