Sarasota Police continue investigating a death from this morning on Margaret Street.
They say a family member found two people unconscious inside a home and called the county fire department.
First-responders called the police department.
One person died at the home, and the other person went to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Police have not released the names of those involved, and they have not disclosed what caused the death.
While police have acknowledged that the county’s hazmat team responded to the scene, they see no danger to the community.
