Bill Nelson wants the FBI to know when someone on a terror watch list buys a gun.
The senator has filed legislation that would allow this to happen.
Nelson calls having such a system in place “common sense.”
The Orlando shooter apparently bought two weapons from a gun store right before Sunday’s attack.
The FBI had previously investigated him.
