Charlotte County deputies have staked themselves out in Port Charlotte to look for heavy feet this week.
The sheriff’s office says to expect them in two stretches: Tamiami Trail between Cranberry and Enterprise Drive, and Kings Highway between Tamiami Trail and Sandhill Boulevard.
Deputies have also chosen to enforce traffic lights at two intersections: South McCall Road and Oriole Boulevard in Englewood, and Tamiami Trail and Jones Loop Road in Punta Gorda.
