Southwest Florida travelers have two new nonstop routes out of Southwest Florida International Airport. Breeze Airways began Fort Myers to Atlantic City service on Thursday, October 22, 2026, and Fort Myers to Dayton flights start Friday, October 23. The Lee County Port Authority announced the additions, giving Gulf Coast residents direct options to New Jersey and Ohio without the usual connection.
The schedules are built for long weekends rather than daily commuting. Atlantic City flights run Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from RSW to ACY. Dayton flights operate Mondays and Fridays between RSW and DAY. If you’re planning around a family visit or a fall getaway, those days should be your first checkpoint before anything else.
Fares deserve a close look. Breeze’s No Flex Fare includes only a personal item, and bundles add carry-on bags, checked bags and seat selection. Compare the all-in price, read the cancellation terms, and factor in RSW parking for those Friday departures so the trip budget holds together. The convenience is real, especially for snowbirds with family up north, as long as you book with eyes open.
Are you more likely to use the Atlantic City route or the Dayton route? Let us know in the comments.
