Lay’s has mapped out its holiday chip schedule, and it’s a three-part rollout. Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Roasted Holiday Turkey land October 25, Maple Bacon arrives November 8, and the two Wavy chocolate-covered varieties, milk chocolate and Dubai-Style dark chocolate, debut December 1 in select stores with a wider release planned for 2027.
The chocolate-covered chips are the head-turner. The Dubai-style flavor nods to the pistachio-kunafa chocolate trend that had people hunting specialty shops up and down the Gulf Coast. Whether it belongs on a charcuterie board or in the dessert category is a debate worth having.
