A ten-foot inflatable pumpkin escaped its yard in Dubuque, Iowa, on Tuesday afternoon and rolled through downtown, bumping parked cars and forcing driver Pam McCarron to swerve on Main Street. She was on her way to a work meeting when the wind pushed the pumpkin into her path. Traffic camera video of the incident surfaced Thursday morning, and McCarron made a point of telling people it was real: “This is not AI-generated. This actually truly happened, and I was the car involved in this.”
