A 22-year-old man was arrested early Saturday morning in Evansville, Indiana after a homeowner reported someone trying to get into their home through the back door. When police arrived around 3:50 a.m., Keith Fuller explained that his friends had dropped him off and told him the house was a fraternity house.
There was just one issue with that theory. Fuller couldn’t give officers an address, and he told them the fraternity was supposed to be a large white mansion. The home he was standing at is blue. According to the homeowner, Fuller had already tried the front door several times asking to take a shower before heading around to the back.
Police say Fuller was heavily intoxicated and admitted to drinking a lot of liquor. He also told officers he isn’t actually in a fraternity, though his friends occasionally invite him to parties. He was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on a preliminary charge of attempted residential entry. No injuries were reported.
