Ricky Joy has recalled more than 2.3 million bottles of Sour Crush rolling liquid candy after the Consumer Product Safety Commission found the roller ball applicator can detach and become a choking hazard for small children. The candy itself is not affected, but families should stop letting kids use the product. So far, no injuries have been reported.
The affected bottles were sold at H-E-B and on Walmart.com from January 2023 through May 2026, for about $3 each or $13 to $32 per pack. That long sales window matters here on the Suncoast, where rolling candy tends to end up in beach bags, boat consoles, and glove boxes and then get forgotten for months.
