Tire Take-Back Event Helps Keep Charlotte County Clean
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL – Charlotte County residents will have an opportunity to safely and responsibly dispose of unwanted tires later this month during a Tire Take-Back Event hosted by Keep Charlotte Beautiful Florida.
The event will take place Saturday, January 31, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Charlotte County Administration Parking Lot, located at 18500 Murdock Circle in Port Charlotte.
The Tire Take-Back Event is open exclusively to Charlotte County residents, and participants must present proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill, at the time of drop-off.
To ensure smooth operations, organizers have set several guidelines:
-
A maximum of 12 tires per household
-
No tires with rims will be accepted
-
Non-commercial car and light truck tires only
Officials say the event helps reduce illegal dumping, protects the environment, and keeps neighborhoods clean and safe.
