Human Trafficking Symposium to Bring Community Partners Together in Charlotte County
Community leaders, law enforcement, advocates, and service providers will come together later this month for a Human Trafficking Symposium focused on education, awareness, and collaboration.
The symposium will take place Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center.
The event is designed to unite those on the front lines of combating human trafficking, while also providing an opportunity for community members to learn more about the issue and connect with available resources. Vendors and service organizations will be on site to share information and strengthen partnerships aimed at prevention, intervention, and survivor support.
The symposium is presented by C.A.R.E. — The Center for Abuse & Rape Emergency Services, continuing its mission to support victims and educate the community on issues of abuse and exploitation.
Registration is required for attendees and vendors. Those interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance, as space may be limited.
