Manatee County deputies are searching for three armed thugs who beat a woman picking up her child from day care and then robbed her. they say the victim was in the 300 block of 60th Avenue Drive East Monday when the robbers came up to her and demanded her purse. She refused. One of the thugs took out a silver pistol, hit her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground and then hit her in the head twice more before ripping her purse from her arms. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
