Sheriff’s deputies have surveillance video of the people who beat up a Port Charlotte K-Mart employee last month.

Investigators say K-Mart loss prevention manager Frank Matos spotted a man slip something from the store into his pants. He followed him out to confront him. That’s when deputies say two other men ran out of the store and started beating and kicking him until he was unconscious. The suspects got away on bicycles. NBC 2 reports Matos got a broken jaw, which had to be wired shut for weeks, and several broken teeth. When they catch the suspects, authorities say they’ll be charged with felony battery.
