A nurse at a Port Charlotte veterans care facility has been arrested for allegedly hitting an elderly Alzheimer’s patient. Officers arresting 43-year-old Liliane Victor after other nurses reported they saw her strike a patient in the back of the head while she was walking him to a table to be fed. Witnesses telling deputies the man would not sit when Victor told him to and that she then hit him on the right rear side of his head. Victor has now been removed from the Veterans Home at Grayton Terrace and jailed in Charlotte County.
