Venice Museum and Archives has been picked to take part in the Heritage Preservation 2013 Conservation Assessment Program. CAP helps museums with funding for professional conservation and preservation specialists to identify the conservation needs of their collections and historic buildings and to recommend ways to correctly improve collections and building conditions. Professional conservators will spend two days surveying the site and three days preparing comprehensive reports to identify conservation priorities. The Venice Museum and Archives specializes in collecting and preserving historical material relating to Venice, Laurel, Nokomis and Osprey.
