The Venice Book Fair and Writers Conference will happen in early April:
Organizers are is looking for authors who would like to rent booths to sell and sign their books. The event is April 6 in Centennial Park in downtown Venice. The booths rent for $250 for publishers, $150 for authors and $100 for nonprofits. The booths will be open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. At the same time, several well-known authors will make presentations about writing and publishing in Venice Theatre, across the street from the booths. The event is sponsored by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation and raises funds for Venice Heritage Inc. For more information, call Pam Johnson, 486-2626, ext. 24005.
