Englewood’s Bill Truex, who won the Dis­trict 3 seat over Valerie Guen­ther in the Nov. 6 elec­tion, will be sworn in as a Char­lotte County Com­mis­sioner tomorrow. Truex will join his fel­low win­ners, Ken Doherty from Dis­trict 1 and Tri­cia Duffy from Dis­trict 5, in tak­ing the oath of office for the posi­tion they were elected to hold for the next three years. Doherty replaces Bob Starr, who he defeated in the Repub­li­can pri­mary, while Duffy was re-elected to her seat.
