Tropical Storm Isaac is continuing to move and is now projected to turn on a northwesterly path over the next 48 hours. Forecasters say the so-called “storm cone” — that’s the computer-projected path that the storm is expected to take — now indicates is could move into the Gulf and curve up toward southwest Florida. Storm-watchers report sustained wind up to 48 miles-per-hour today and say Isaac is now expected to blow up into a full hurricane by some time late tomorrow.
