Unemployment in the Sun Coast has fallen to its lowest level in more than a year. New reports today show unemployment was just under eleven percent in the North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton area. That’s a slight improvement over the month before and nearly two percent better than a year ago. Although statewide employment gains are modest, the numbers show the Florida economy gaining 93,500 jobs in seasonally adjusted data.
