Charlotte County Sheriff’s investigators are trying to figure out who stole a semi loaded with 40-thousand dollars worth of dairy products. The driver told deputies he parked the rig at a truck stop just off I-75 in Punta Gorda. When he returned later, it was gone. But officers were able to track the rig all the way to Miami on its G-P-S device. Miami-Dade Police were able to locate the semi with its G-P-S coordinates but the cargo of dairy goods had already been removed.
