Siesta Key Beach may be world famous but it also is a world-class attraction for car breakins. Sarasota police say th big parking lots filled with cars are irresistible to thieves, who have been targeting unlocked rental cars, mostly, and stealing everything from purses to cell phones to prescription drugs. Detectives have now made an arrest in the theft of some credit cards, which were used within minutes at a Walmart store. The alleged thieves were identified on surveillance video and arrested.
