The State College of Florida will be looking for a new president following the resignation of Lars Hafner. Trustees of the Bradenton school unanimously approved a deal struck between Hafner’s attorneys and those hired by the board. Hafner, who is 51, will be paid 363 thousand dollars severance. His critics called him fiscally irresponsible. Also, two members of the board who supported Hafner quit and Governor Scott will have to pick two new ones.
