Officials investigate another suspected case of voter fraud across Florida. It began in the Orlando area and has now spread to ours. Sarasota County Elections Supervisor Kathy Dent says some voters received a letter questioning their eligibility to vote. Dent says they did NOT come from her office. One letter was sent to Seminole County Supervisor of Elections, Mike Ertel from Seattle with no return address. It read “You’re not registered to vote, please don’t go to the polls.” Officials say the voters who have received the letters so far are white, registered Republicans who consistently vote in elections. They say if you receive such a letter, you should call the Board of Elections immediately. In Sarasota County, the number is (941) 861-8600.
