The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 39-year old Matthew Nemeth of Bradenton. He owns Atmospheres Kitchen and Bath Artistry in Sarasota, and according to WTSP, officials allege Nemeth took $6,000 from a woman who’d signed a contract with him for kitchen renovations . You guessed it-the work was never done and the victim had no luck reaching Nemeth to get her money back, called police. Nemeth’s been charged with grant theft, and is free on $20,000 bond.
