If you’re driving in Sarasota County, be aware of a number of areas where road crews could be working during the day or at night. Those include: I-75, from North River Road to State Road 681 where the highway is being realigned and widened to six lanes and U.S. 301 in Sarasota, from Myrtle Street to DeSoto Road. Intermittent lane closures there while crews reconstruct intersections at Myrtle Street, Northgate Boulevard, 47th Street and DeSoto Road. Also, if you drive the Ringling Bridge. watch out for maintenance crews all this week.
