Looks like Sarasota taxpayers are on the hook for extensive damage caused by vandals at a city park this week. Now, though, a reward is being offered in an effort to track down the culprits. The vandalism happened at Payne Park early yesterday. Several restrooms and a water fountain were extensively damaged which caused water leaks. The damage could cost several thousand dollars to repair. A one thousand dollar reward is available through Crime Stoppers for information leading to the vandals.
