Sarasota County commissioners have officially signed their new top boss. Randall Reid and county leaders came to terms on a new contract Thursday. He will take over the County Administrator position pending a physical and background check. It turns out to be a three-year, 190-thousand-dollar-a-year deal. Reid will have his hands full helping the local government bounce back from purchasing and policy problems which cost more than 10 high-ranking officials their jobs.
