A motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to Lee Memorial Hospital this afternoon at what authorities say was a serious crash on US-41 and McKenzie Road in Punta Gorda. NBC2 reports witnesses say the bike was hit, and its rider was dragged by a vehicle which never stopped.
