We have some good news as we head into the Fourth of July, gas prices are coming down.

The Triple-A says that on average, gas prices fell six cents from last week. Influences such as a jump in the value of the Dollar and increased refinery output were the reason for the decline.

In Florida, we are paying an average of $3.45 for a gallon of gas, down a six cents from last week. Nationally, folks are paying an average of $3.49 per gallon, down eight cents from last week.

The Triple A says the decline in gas prices could mean more people on the roads this holiday weekend.
