Authorities now say it was a driver making a left turn that caused the five-car crash in Sarasota that seriously injured one person and hospitalized three others. The Florida Highway Patrol saying a driver making a left turn onto Bee Ridge Road near South Lockwood Ridge Road partially blocked an eastbound lane, causing the crash. The driver is now being cited for a right-of-way violation. The driver who was seriously injured was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from her car.
