This began as a domestic violence call early this morning but it escalated because of what responding officers found at the address. Charlotte County deputies were called to a home in the 21-thousand block of Catherine Avenue in Port Charlotte early today by a woman who said her boyfriend had threatened to kill her with a knife. But when they arrived, officers say they found a lot more to the case: the home turned out to be a marijuana grow house. Narcotics officers say they found thirteen marijuana plants growing as well as a complete grow house system. Both people were arrested.
