The City of North Port has been named, for the second consecutive year, a Playful City USA community. That award from KaBOOM!, which is a national not-for-profit organization committed to providing time and space for play for America’s children.
The City was first named a Playful City USA in 2010. The recognition is granted to cities that promote healthy lifestyles and create play opportunities for children and their families to get outdoors and get active in play.
