LeeTran will buy 24 new hybrid busses with a 14-million dollar federal grant. It is the single largest grant LeeTran has ever received, and it’s the largest sum award to any Florida transit agency in this grant cycle. This award was among 300 public transportation projects chosen out of 829 submitted from across the country.
