This winter continues to see temperatures that are either at or near record highs and forecasters say that trend looks like it will continue for much of the rest of March, at least. With high temperatures in the low eighties along the Gulf and mid-eighties inland, the rest of this week will continue warm. How warm? Monday’s high in Sarasota was 86, which tied a record set in 1997. Temps expected to be at least ten degrees above normal for awhile and little rain in the forecast, a major concern as drought conditions continue in southwest Florida.
