Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC gotten the blessing of the Manatee County COmmission to mine more of the land at the Wingate Creek Mine. The Bradenton Herald reports the changes involve 557 acres, and extend the life of the mine to 2023. The company wanted to mine land that had been set aside for other purposes.
