What happened when a two year old fell into a campfire last week?
That’s what the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating. They said on Friday that it happened on Wednesday night in Port Charlotte. They said his mother tried to treat him, but he ended up in the hospital on Thursday. She said the child was running around the fire when he fell into it.
Port Charlotte. Hospital Emergency Room officials called the CCSO when the child was brought in, and he was taken to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg with second degree burns.
