Does your employer provide health insurance? There was a time when no one even asked that question. Today, though, new figures show that one in five Florida workers with fulltime jobs has no health insurance. It’s new data from the census and among other things it says that nearly eighteen percent of Sarasota County residents have no health insurance. Worse, the figures reveal that nearly fifteen percent of children under eighteen are uninsured. Nationally, the average is eight percent.
