Troopers say an Englewood man was injured in a rear-end collision in Venice yesterday. 48-year old Sean Barrett was airlifted to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, although the Highway Patrol reported he had only minor injuries. Troopers say Barrett was southbound in his 2006 Chrysler SUV on I-75 near Laurel Road. A semi truck was stopped in traffic, and Barrett rear-ended the semi.
